We'd like to announce an exciting collaboration we are undertaking with Tom Campbell, an outstanding speaker, teacher, writer, philosopher, psychologist, scientist, etc.  His ideas resonate closely with ours, and he also believes that we live in a virtual reality.  https://www.my-big-toe.com 

Tom's Larger Consciousness System (LCS) theory is compatible with the theory proposed in our book, "The Miracle of Our Universe:  A New View of Consciousness, God, Science and Reality."  Bernie's view of one Cosmic Consciousness, or God who created and sustains the universe is effectively the same as the LCS.

Tom has accomplished the amazing feat of creating a Theory of Everything! Yes, everything, not just a unification of relativity and quantum physics – it does accomplish that as well, but also so much more. It is a revolutionary scientific model explaining why straight forward logic and careful scientific reasoning require the physical universe to emerge from consciousness – and how this gives purpose and meaning to our existence. 

Campbell’s book, My Big TOE (MBT) [where TOE means: Theory of Everything] is a step-by-step introduction to the model that explains why our universe is best seen as a virtual reality in which we are players learning to make good (low entropy) choices. Consciousness, defined as awareness with a choice, is all about information -- receiving, assessing, remembering and acting upon Information (making choices).  Consequently, consciousness can most accurately be modeled as an information system – a system that evolves by ordering its otherwise random bits into meaningful information – i.e., by lowering its entropy.

Overview of the Theory: 

Tom Campbell is a nuclear physicist who worked in the NASA systems risk analysis. Tom also championed for more than 50 years the drug-free research into altered states of consciousness. Through systematic exploration of his own consciousness, Tom was able to develop a scientific model of reality, explaining how and why we, as subsets of the Larger Consciousness System, play human avatars in a virtual universe evolved from a ruleset and initial conditions – big digital bang – for the purpose of lowering the entropy of our personal and collective consciousness.  Thus, as in all VRs, the virtual reality exists only in the  minds of the players.  A social system of interactive subsets of consciousness lowers its individual and collective entropy by cooperating -- working together for the benefit of all.
